American Oncology Network, LLC Expands Leadership

Two Key Community Oncology Leaders Appointed

Fort Myers, Fla. (April 25, 2019) — With a mission to support long-term viability of community oncology, American Oncology Network, LLC (AON) continues to expand its offerings and experience by hiring two new leaders, Steven Swart, Regional Senior Vice President, and Brian Wall, Vice President of Revenue Cycle.
Swart and Wall join AON’s executive team, which includes CEO Brad Prechtl, MBA, COO Todd Schonherz and Chief Revenue Cycle Officer Sarah Cevallos. Their mission will be to ensure the success of AON practices and physicians across the U.S.

“We are excited to welcome these two industry leaders to our growing team,” said Prechtl. “They each bring expertise and tenacity, which exhibit our commitment to our partner physicians, practices and patients.”

Swart successfully managed AON’s acquisition and partnership with Zangmeister Cancer Center in Ohio, where he served as Executive Director. With more than 30 years of experience, he is a seasoned healthcare leader, bringing extensive financial and operational acumen. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Robert C. Byrd Clinic at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting/pre-law from Ohio University.

Wall, who most recently served as the Director of Practice Improvement at Envision Healthcare, has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare account and revenue cycle management. His broad range of accomplishments include implementing new technology and new procedures across multiple facilities and standardizing training and reporting in various capacities. Wall received an MBA with a healthcare management concentration from The George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Dayton.

AON’s growing leadership team will continue to ensure that its collaborative approach and physician-led model allow community practices to thrive while maintaining local leadership and autonomy. Ultimately, this model allows physicians to focus on what matters most – providing the highest quality care for cancer patients.
