Genesis Cancer Center Expands Cancer Care Services & Opens in Benton, Arkansas
Hot Springs, Ark., Mar. 1, 2021 – Genesis Cancer Center (GCC) is pleased to announce the opening of their new cancer center location in Benton, Ark., at 3 Medical Park Drive, Suite 202. For 30 years, GCC has provided the highest quality care to thousands of patients throughout southern Arkansas, with the mission of “making cancer a memory.”
The physicians at Genesis Cancer Center place a strong emphasis on offering the latest treatment options, clinical trials, and patient education. As with GCC’s other eight locations, the Benton clinic will provide cancer patients in Benton and surrounding areas with affordable care conveniently located close to where they live. GCC has additional expanded services in the main Hot Springs location, offering patients access to diagnostic PET/CT imaging and onsite review. GCC’s fully integrated patient treatment plan, including pathology, labs and radiology, make it easier to accelerate treatment.
“We are proud of the comforting atmosphere we have created for our patients and will continue to bring the latest treatment options and clinical trials conveniently located so our patients can stay as close to home as possible,” said Genesis Cancer Center Medical Oncologist Dr. Robert Muldoon.
In 2018, GCC joined the American Oncology Network, a multi-state alliance of physicians and veteran healthcare leaders supporting the long-term viability of community oncology. The GCC and AON partnership helps provide the best cancer care with additional services including efficient home delivery of oral cancer medications, care management to include behavior health and a certified dietitian, access to clinical trials, as well as a financial assistance program to help navigate insurance coverage.
“Our mission is to bring the highest quality care that is affordable in the communities where patients live,” said AON CEO, Brad Prechtl, MBA.
