American Oncology Network and Cancer and Blood Specialists of Georgia Welcome New Physician Aneesha Ananthula, MD
Dr. Ananthula joins the physician team and is accepting patients.
JOHNS CREEK, Ga., August 14, 2023 – Cancer and Blood Specialists of Georgia (CBSG), a partner practice of American Oncology Network, LLC (AON), is pleased to welcome Board-certified medical oncologist Aneesha Ananthula, MD, to the Johns Creek practice.
Dr. Ananthula received her medical degree from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences. She then completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, and a hematology-oncology fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has experience treating a wide array of cancer diagnoses, including benign and malignant blood disorders.
“I am honored to be joining Dr. Reddy at his practice,” said Dr. Ananthula. “I am committed to providing comprehensive care to my patients that include emotional and psychological well-being because cancer is not strictly just treating the tumor but the person — both physically and mentally. Dr. Reddy has created a warm and caring environment for his patients that promotes health and wellness, and I look forward to working alongside him and the other care staff at the clinic.”
“It is an exciting time when a practice is able to welcome a new provider,” said CBSG medical oncologist Sreekanth Reddy, MD. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Ananthula join us as she will be a tremendous addition to the care team and will further add to the services offered by our clinic.”
CBSG is a partner practice of AON, a national network of community oncology practices, and offers a variety of cancer services locally beyond physician-patient appointments. Such services include infusion therapy, centralized laboratory and pathology, in-house specialty pharmacy access and at-home oral oncolytic prescription delivery, a care management program as well as patient financial counseling.
“Congratulations to Cancer and Blood Specialists of Georgia and Dr. Reddy on securing Dr. Ananthula,” said AON Chief Medical Officer Stephen “Fred” Divers, MD. “Dr. Reddy joined AON late last year, and we are excited to learn that there will be an additional provider at the clinic. Dr. Reddy’s dedication to the community and oncology is evident, which has laid the groundwork for his practice to expand. Even growth by one physician allows the clinic to elevate their care and continue providing quality patient services.”
