AONC has partnered with Bacon County Hospital and Health System to open its new clinic in Alma
Through the collaboration, patients with gynecological cancers are able to see an oncology specialist without having to travel to the university or another site.
The new site is over 14,000 square feet and accommodates 10 private exam rooms and 20 infusion chairs. Additionally, the clinic is equipped with enhanced services such as diagnostic PET/CT imaging and state-of-the-art TruBeam radiation treatments.
AON’s specialty pharmacy reports success in reducing drug waste like unnecessary and early prescription refills.
Dr. Shah is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist and sees patients at the Columbus clinic.
